Incident Command Training, October 2006
Kilkenny Fire Service are the first Fire Service in Ireland to train their Firefighters and Fire Officers in the newly developed Incident Command System (ICS).

Aim of the Course:
The aim of the course is to enhance the capability of Kilkenny Fire Service to provide effective and efficient fire and emergency service.
Objective:
The objective of the course is to inform all Firefighters and Fire Officers on the newly developed Incident Command System (I.C.S.).
The course content included a number of lectures on the Incident Command System together with table-top exercises.
