Canal Walk

Historic origins from the 1750s canal project between Kilkenny and Inistioge
Tree-lined path between Kilkenny Castle and the River Nore
Features: mill races, weirs, wells, and canal remnants
Access to Kilkenny Castle Park along the route
Loop option via Lacken Walk and Ossory Pedestrian Bridge

Bishops Meadows Walk

Refurbished in 2009
Begins at the horseshoe weir (Kilkenny City Flood Relief Scheme)
Extends to Talbot’s Inch Village and site of the 1906 pedestrian bridge
